Whether it’s hot or cold outside, this fresh mint iced tea can be enjoyed no matter what the weather. Using mint leaves, tangy lime and apple juice, here’s how to create this refreshing, mouth-watering drink.
Ingredients (per pitcher)
1 litre Twinings Pure Peppermint Tea
500ml apple juice
10 tbsp lime juice
10 tbsp agave syrup
10 fresh mint leaves (finely chopped)
Infuse the peppermint teabag in freshly boiled water for 3 minutes then remove and discard. Stir through the agave syrup and leave to cool. Add the lime juice and apple juice. Serve chilled or over ice.
Peppermint tea has a cool, invigorating taste. To enjoy it hot, infuse one tea bag (per person) with boiling water for about three minutes or longer for a stronger taste. Then enjoy.
