Celebrities rely on simple weight loss tricks to stay in shape

They’ve got personal trainers and chefs keeping them trim, but A-listers also swear by quick and easy weight loss tricks. Whether they’re at home or on the go, these celebrity tips take 60 seconds or less to implement into your daily routine. Here’s our favourite celebrity waist clinchers.

Kendall Jenner boosts her metabolism by sipping tea throughout the day. “I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea,” the model and reality star told E! News. “I have like 12 cups a day.”

TV host and author Kelly Choi also relies on tea to detox her body — although she doesn’t just drink it. “There are so many amazing properties in tea and so many healthy foods that require hot water,” the author of The 7-Day Flat-Belly Tea Cleanse said. “But I’ll swap in hot green tea instead of water for things like oatmeal and quinoa. I’ve seen so many people benefit from my tea cleanse that it inspired me to keep the tea flowing whenever I can!”

Actress Anne Hathaway has a rigorous exercise daily workout plan, but she also blasts fat by stair running. “When I’m at home, I always run up or down the stairs. It’s an easy way to stay in shape,” she said.

Golden Globe winner Jennifer Aniston maintains her amazing shape by packing dumbbells when she’s living out of a suitcase. “I take eight-pound weights with me whenever I’m staying in a hotel,” she told InStyle. “It’s always good to do arm exercises when you’re watching television or talking on the phone. I also love to stretch before I go to bed, and usually throw in a couple of sit-ups.”

Actress Jessica Alba starts her day with an energising smoothie, while model Miranda Kerr swears by a daily spoonful of unrefined coconut oil to beat the bloat. Also relying on a “wonder” ingredient is Megan Fox who uses apple cider vinegar to stay slim. “It just cleanses out your system entirely,” the actress said. The ingredient is best added to salad dressings, marinades and sauces.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian advocates drinking more water. “You’d be surprised the difference drinking more water can make to your weight loss mission and workouts,” she told her blog readers. While her sister Khloé swears by cutting one item from her diet every week to stay in shape. “For example, one week I’ll eliminate soda, and then the next week I’ll cut out late-night snacking,” she told E! News.

Sarah Jessica Parker also cuts an item from her diet — alcohol. “I eat everything. Last night I had steak, some lamb shank… some ice cream and some cheesecake. I’m just simply not really a drinker. It just doesn’t occur to me. Tonight, I’ll have a glass of wine.”

And if all else fails, follow actress Jennifer Hudson’s led and keep tempting foods out of sight. The Academy Award-winner overcomes temptation with this simple technique. “I throw the pancakes across the room! I don’t let the food intimidate me,” she told Yahoo Style. “If it’s too much, I just get rid of it. It’s all about portions for the most part.” she added.
