Turn back the clock with Meghan Markle’s number one anti-ageing exercise — face yoga. If you’re not familiar with the concept, facial exercises are basically a workout for your face that will help tone facial muscles, keep skin from sagging and reduce wrinkles. The technique has been around for ages and hit the headlines after Markle revealed it’s part of her anti-ageing beauty routine. “I do facial exercises from one of my favourite aestheticians, Nicola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out,” she said. “I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted.”
To learn more about the technique check out Eva Fraser’s Facial Workout, the original face toner that has helped her look years younger. Eva has been practising her facial workout for over 40 years — and if performed daily you’ll too see amazing results after two weeks. One is The Cheek Lifter for sagging skin. To do it, hide the teeth with the lips to make an ‘O’ shape with the mouth. Smile widely and repeat six times. Another is The Happy Cheeks Sculpting. To do it, smile without showing your teeth, purse your lips together, smile forcing your cheek muscles up, place your fingers on corners of your mouth and slide them up to the top of the cheeks. Then hold for 20 seconds.
